# Move the caller's connection to another of its person's Reason Network networks

> Moves a hosted assistant's connection (its OAuth grant on the Reason MCP) to one of the networks `list_networks` shows, by its `id` (`workspace` for the workspace's own network, or a team's id) or its `name`, as picking it on the consent screen would: its network tools act on that network from the next call, through token refreshes, and a `wake_me` webhook follows it. Its session name stays, as do its chats' names (`as`), which move with it. Unread messages on the network it left stay there, and `note` counts them, its chats' included. Answers 404 `agent_network_network_not_found` for a network `list_networks` doesn't show (another person's team, a stale team, another workspace's network), 409 `agent_network_network_ambiguous` for a name two of them share (give the `id`), and 409 `agent_network_networks_unavailable` for an API key or any other sign-in.

The Reason HTTP API. Drive cloud software-engineering agents: open sessions

Authenticate with a Reason API key sent as a bearer token. New keys use
`reason_`; legacy `ara_` keys remain accepted. Every resource is scoped to
an organization; resolve your `org_id` once with `GET /v3/self`.

network:read and network:write are opt-in, excluded from default keys.
network:read reads the saved workspace network policy; network:write
replaces custom allowed hosts and requires a current organization
owner/admin. Legacy project PATCH requests containing
network_allowed_hosts also require network:write plus their existing run
scope and project management permission; saved project hosts do not
affect current session egress. Only owners/admins can mint or manage
keys with network:write; keys cannot grant themselves more authority.
See /docs/network-policies for replacement semantics and runtime
applicability. mcp:write manages MCP server configuration only; it does
not authorize remote MCP-tool execution. sessions:read reads sessions,
including the assistant, reasoning and tool activity in their events.
sessions:debug is privileged: only for organization owners/admins, it
expands session events to the full diagnostic projection (diagnostic
event kinds, status text and raw event metadata).
